But now these steel and concrete achievements are deteriorating. More than 70,000 of our nation's bridges are rated structurally deficient. Massive grid failures have left millions in the dark. 25,000 miles of commercial navigable waterways and locks have exceeded their 50-year design life. Everything from dilapidated levees to pipelines to railroads is past their expiration date.

Mark Twain's America interweaves the life and times of Mark Twain with the lives of current day enthusiasts who revel in the inventions and way of life of the 19th century. Utilizing archival stereo-optic photos, powerful images from the past seemingly come alive in a larger-than-life presentation. Archival photos representative of Twain and what he saw and experienced in his time are juxtaposed against scenes of actual present day recreations of that era.

Mohammed the Muslim, first introduced in "The Wait of the World", comes to America and stays with T.J, his Christian writer friend. Prior to his coming, T.J. researches and studies the Muslim faith as he wants to convert Mohammed to Christianity. One night, the conversation turns to the subject, and T.J. is shocked when he finds out why few Muslims ever come to Christ. This is a very, very powerful film and truly one that every professing Christian, especially in America, should see. Great truth presented.

Jokerman: Tommy Tiernan in America is the fourth DVD release from Tommy Tiernan and was filmed over a 2-year period. It follows Tommy's attempt to be successful in America. It was filmed in comedy clubs in New York, Washington, D.C., and other places from Omaha to Sacramento. Material for the gigs was obtained from the various experiences he encountered, both good and bad, and the different people and cultures that he came across over the two-year period.

Footage of several wars, news broadcasts, stock footage, surveillance video, commercials, video games, a modified version of the United States Terror Alert system and John Giorno's spoken word performance piece "Subduing Demons In America" are edited together to represent an extreme caricature of the constant visual bombardment an average American citizen receives almost on a daily basis via the media. In a way, the media becomes War Itself, and the numbing, hypnotic result is nothing less than a version of Anthony Burgess' "Ludovico Treatment" from the novel A Clockwork Orange.

Rich Mullins had ascended to one of the most respected planes in the Christian world before his death in a 1997 Illinois car accident. Mullins's music owes much to '70s pop, equal parts Cat Stevens, Billy Joel, Todd Rundgren, Bruce Springsteen and Kenny Loggins, accentuated by lyrics both intricate and startlingly simple, sometimes incisive and often possessed of a rapier wit often absent in the genre.It is particularly in the live tracks where one is treated to a truly engaging personality. Mullins's wide-eyed passion is both simple and earnest and glows endearingly through his intelligent songs. HERE IN AMERICA offers a nice introduction to the late Christian singer.

This video is quite unique since the journey was aboard Amtrak's Cardinal after a very heavy snowfall. The journey picks up at first light east of Maysville, Kentucky, and concludes with the stop in Clifton Forge, West Virginia, after traveling along the Ohio River, and later the famous New River Gorge. It's a rare treat to be onboard during the winter and on a crystal clear day. The music by Michael Lynch is exceptional for this video as well. Since it was winter we did not have the opportunity to do off train locations, but we have an added bonus of including some steam locomotive excursions that formerly traveled this same route east of Huntington and through the New River region.
