A reality show made by otaku for otaku, America's Greatest Otaku is a revealing eight-episode documentary series that searches the United States for the number one American otaku (uber-passionate fan of anime, manga, games, and Japanese pop culture). Each episode follows TOKYOPOP founder, entrepreneur, and filmmaker Stu Levy and his apprentices, the Otaku Six (six college students that are self-proclaimed die-hard otaku) as they travel across the country, visiting Otaku Hotspots (locations rich with otaku appeal) and searching for the one person who personifies what it means to be an otaku.

On September 25, 2013, Fox News announced that the show will return to weekdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET, hosted by Bill Hemmer and Alisyn Camerota, starting September 30, 2013. The time slot was previously occupied by the first hour of America Live with Megyn Kelly, which was removed from the cable channel's lineup in preparation for host Megyn Kelly's move to prime time hosting The Kelly File, which debuts on October 7, 2013.

America's Next Muppet was a planned six-episode mini-series, which ABC announced in 2005 it was purchasing. The mini-series was going to be produced by The Jim Henson Company for Disney, and was going to be a direct parody of America's Next Top Model. The show was going to feature many famous Muppet characters, such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo in a reality TV-show spoof, holding a talent contest to find the next Muppet to add to their famous group.
