AFTER THE LONG TRIP, HE HAD JETLAG AND DECIDED TO LOOK FOR A PHARMACY (A.K.A CHEMIST IN NIGERIAN TERM) TO GET PAIN MEDICATIONS, DUE TO THE BIG VOCABULARY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NIGERIAN ENGLISH AND THE AMERICAN ENGLISH, HE RANDOMLY ASKED A STRANGER FOR A PLACE TO BUY DRUGS, HE WAS DIRECTED TO SOME STREET DRUG DEALERS. MR PATRICK HAD NO IDEA THAT THE TERM DRUG MOSTLY REFERS TO NARCOTICS AND HE ALMOST GOT HIMSELF IN TROUBLE WITH THE GANG, HE WAS FORTUNATELY SAVED BY THE GANG LEADER WHO HAPPENS TO HAVE NIGERIAN HERITAGE AND UNDERSTOOD THE MISCOMMUNICATION. HE GOT INVOLVED IN A KIDNAPPING CASE, WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A THREAT OF DEPORTATION. A MIRACLE FROM A HELP HE HAD EARLIER RENDERED TO AN IMPORTANT INDIVIDUAL DURING THE TRIAL RESULTED IN SOLIDIFYING HIS SURVIVAL IN AMERICA.
