If breakdance was a dance of cultural resistance of the Afro community in the US, perhaps this documentary shows a continuity with the northern Argentine adolescence. The Boys Street is a breakdancing group recognized through their presentations on the reality television show Talento Argentino, where they reached the final. Its members are adolescents between 12 and 18 years old from Palpalá, a town in the southeast of the province of Jujuy. Without technical knowledge, the group recorded the process of participating in the program with their own video cameras, crudely portraying their experience as a counterpart to the formality and aestheticization of reality. Los Boys recovers the history of the group at the same time that it captures the daily life of its members in the present day of Palpalá, a town that was recognized as "Mother of Industry" since it had several industrial parks, but was systematically dismantled after the coup d'état and during the privatizations of the '90s.

‘Navi Boys’ is a beautiful, and efficient, utilization of resources, performances and writing to portray a single moment, a conflict, and the confrontation, struggle and the eventual resolution that constitute it. Mike and Elon present to us a day in their lives where they conduct a podcast, the eponymous Avatar-fan podcast, that leaves no stone unturned in committing to the authenticity of the said universe.

Hello Boys documents a performance at the Gallery Gerald Piltzer in Paris. Seen through the glass of a large fish tank, Wilke, nude, performs a repertoire of studied erotic gestures to the accompaniment of rock music. Entrapped in her fish bowl, on display behind glass, she is both subject and object. Suggesting the iconic female figure of a mermaid, with its ambiguous implications of sexual power and powerlessness, Wilke explores the representation of female sexuality and the male gaze.

‘Berta Boys is a short film and exhibition that contemplates the teetering instability of Alberta’s hyper masculine identity. For Terrence, this exaggerated posturing has fused Alberta’s aesthetic and economic identities into a petrol-philic culture that is put on display via hyper-masculine regionalisms; roof-racks, lift-kits, oil-slogans and truck nuts, these are the accessories of the twenty-first century petrol cowboy. Driving forward with a self-assured camp, Berta Boys looks to open up this imagery by creating an isolated world where men turn their violent gaze on each other. Terrence is joined in the film by fellow Albertan artists Aaron Brown and Gabriel Esteban Molina as co-writers and co-performers. In an effort to explore the masculine archetypes found within themselves, the trio meditate on the unrestricted behaviours that blend tragedy with absurdity.
