Sixty-five years later, five Holocaust survivors tell their amazing story, about the secret journal VEDEM created by a group of teenage boys right beneath the noses of their Nazi captors in a concentration camp. But first the boys in the choir must come to know the 'boys of Terezin,' and learn the price of those boys' courageous resistance to their oppressors. Emotions move in a harsh and unstable way -- dancers enjoy each other's company, but don't -- locations and costumes are cycled through just as quickly. We do know that just as the music is moving ahead, left to right, the camera and dancers will too. And we know that just as the music suspends you out of time - feeling like both 1972 and 2022 - our vision will too. Boys Will Be Toys is an eight-minute dance piece that fuses two unique songs. It is a fast, sensory, exhilarating ride, weaving you through feelings of attachment and detachment from the body - and the needs of the body.

Shot at the Chinatown Basketball Tournament in New York City, August 1997 when the video maker stumbled upon by chance. Season of the Boys is about the myth of a "boy-season" that all men have been waiting for, which comes just once and only for a brief moment. The video documents the Asian boys who can jump, or at least pass the ball. Living between Black and White Americans, the yellow boys attempts to negotiate a space for themselves.
