A cartoon curtain rises before the story title. The hand of the artist is seen drawing Jerry. Duplicate Jerry's appear either side of the one he draws. When he has finished the dogs roll their eyes and wiggle their ears, tails and nose. The middle Jerry notices one of the others and looks angry. He pokes him with a finger and says: "Hi! Who do you think you are?"

Out-of-work college professor Grant Oldman gets more than he bargains for when he brings an unknown woman to pose as his wife for a dinner party. After a disastrous evening, Grant finds himself homeless and unemployed with the unwanted task of supervising his unstable date that has inadvertently kidnapped the key witness to a fatal mob massacre. With federal agents hot on their trail, they must escort the witness to safety and escape the city before the mafia can execute its deadly plans.

"Kin no Tori" is an adaptation of the homonymous fairy tale "The Golden Bird" by Brothers Grimm. A golden apple is stolen from the King's garden. The King orders his three sons to guard the apples in turn and to find out who is the thief. When the youngest son, Hans, presents a feather that he got from the golden bird that stole the apple the king sends his three sons to bring this bird to him and so Hans' journey begins.
