Based on the children's book by Sunada Hiroshi. Musuke "Shorty" Sato is a shortstop for the local junior baseball team, the Eggs, who is asked by his mother to look after some money for her. He foolishly lends it to Tower and Dump, the school bad-boys, and must enlist the help of the pitcher's pretty little sister.

The movie stars you see on the screen have once been selected amongst others. The glamor of the premiere is preceded by mug shots, selections, interviews, wining, dining, backstabbing and sex. In the end, everyone gets what they deserve.

It's WWIII, and the Englishmen has established a base near the east coast of England. Some leaked information also tells the Norwegians that the Englishmen has plans of attacking Norway, taking the Russian side of the war. The Norwegian General sends Corporal Normann, with his loyal Private Refsdal over the ocean to attack the 9th base from the north, called Base 9.

One sluggish Sunday, Pien is urged by her mother to go and play hide-and-seek with her two younger half-brothers. They accidentally discover a family hiding in the deserted industrial zone: refugees. Perplexed, the teen girl tries to think how she can help. Due to soft noises of shootings, echoes almost, the terrain suddenly seems a war zone. Meanwhile, Pien and the charming son are slowly enchanted by each other.

Eden and Hyunho, brother and sister, have now lived in hiding in the mountains for three years to avoid all EMFs: electromagnetic frequencies. They reside deep in South Korea's last forest standing- the last EMF safe area. The two move ‘homes’ every day; they dig a burrow in the ground, set up an EMF shielding tent, and cover it with soil and branches to disguise it. The older sister Eden believes that her younger brother Hyunho suffers from EMF sensitivity. However, Hyunho himself believes otherwise: that his condition has nothing to do with it. Hyunho misses the city life. Hyunho decides to go off course and goes down to the city, to a highway service station. He experiences an excruciating headache and faints. Eden carries Hyunho back to the forest, sets up a tent in a safe place, lies his younger brother down, then sneaks into a nearby village to steal medicine from a pharmacy. On her way back to the woods, Eden is confronted by tall standing, never-ending, peculiar looking lights.

Fourteen year old Elias longs for his first kiss. He attends his first party and everything seems to be going well with the girl of his dreams when the night suddenly takes an unexpected turn.

The film takes place away from the glittering strip of mega casinos, but the greed of Sin City is just as pervasive on the desert outskirts. This is where a happy family learns of a forgotten fortune that may be buried beneath their home. Their lives are turned upside down. A sophisticated study of just how far people are able and willing to go if faced with the tempting prospect of easily acquired wealth.

Aimed at promoting active Korean participation in the war for the Imperial Japanese Army, the film sees the people of Joseon mobilized into a string of organized units such as a youth group helping to recruit young volunteers, a group promoting the sale of war bonds, and an exclusive organization that focuses on donating aircrafts and anti-aircraft machine guns.

This is a propaganda film made after the establishment of the wartime total mobilization system. The film includes various war efforts, including Gyeongseong Prefectural Association's offering of airplanes; prisoners' contribution of heavy machine guns; the inauguration of the Joseon Youth League for war support; a ceremony to celebrate the fall of Wuhan; a Chinese consul's visit to the Joseon Shrine; visits from Italian and Mongolian delegations to Joseon; and encouragement of bond purchases. The narration at the end is recorded in Korean in a heroic tone. The narration encourages everyone to faithfully pursue his or her livelihood, accelerate the implementation of national policies, and achieve the 'purpose of the Holy War.' It is the only extant film of the ‘news films in Korean language” produced by the Japanese Government-General of Joseon during the Japanese colonial period. Acquired in 1994.

The film depicts the situation at several bases through the eyes of children: Chitose in the north, a base in the mountain village of Tozawamura in Yamagata Prefecture, urban bases in Yokosuka and Tachikawa and Uchinada in Ishikawa Prefecture.
