William Carter, a young Virginian in Paris, becomes enchanted with music hall dancer Fanchon La Fare. After William reluctantly returns to America, Fanchon follows him, and when she is threatened with deportation because of an irregularity in her passport, William marries her. The marriage causes consternation in the upright Carter family, which is compounded when Fanchon performs one of her dances at a church benefit. At the conclusion of her dance, Fanchon sees a stranger in the audience and faints. Later, the same man appears at the Carter residence and demands to see her. Leigh Carter, William's younger brother, becomes angered and shoots the man. At the trial, Fanchon confesses that the stranger was her estranged husband whom she had been forced to marry when she was but a child. The crime thus clarified, Leigh is freed, and Fanchon, who had been expelled earlier from the Carter house, is welcomed back by her husband and his family. (Courtesy TCM)

When Good Pets Go Bad is an American reality television series of specials about animals behaving in dangerous and often unpredictable ways. It is currently shown on Spike.
The title, "When Good Pets Go Bad", is somewhat of a misnomer. While some of these are pets, others are livestock or wild animals. The series contains footage of many types of animals, including horses, dogs, house cats, big cats, moose, deer, cattle, primates and reptiles.
Viewers may also question whether the animals are "bad" in a moral sense or are merely acting according to instinct. Animals are shown reacting in response to stimuli such as objects being thrown at them, the presence of television cameras, humans approaching mothers with young or during the breeding season, cage doors being opened or unexpected human gestures. Some of the animals, such as monkeys, a kangaroo and a lion, are shown after escaping from a laboratory or a zoo. Several of the horse segments involve harness horses that apparently were spooked and tried to escape, which is a horse's natural defense, or saddle horses that reared and fell on their riders. Several segments include bulls and horses used in rodeos.
The narrator refers to the animals featured in this program using such terms such as "frenzied", "merciless", "furious", "enraged" or "terrifying". Attack scenes are often replayed several times.
Good and Bad at Games is a UK television drama that was one of the first programmes broadcast on Channel 4 Television in 1983. The screenplay was written by William Boyd and the lead roles of Cox, Mount and Niles were played by Anton Lesser, Dominic Jephcott and Martyn Stanbridge. A young Rupert Graves also appears briefly as Guthrie. The film was directed by Jack Gold and produced by Victor Glynn.
The story, told partly in flashback to 1968, concerns a clique of English public schoolboys who bully and humiliate an unpopular younger pupil who is 'bad at games'. Ten years later Cox uses the dim-witted and weak-willed Niles, who is only included in the clique because he is 'good at games', to find out more about the lead persecutor, in order to exact revenge.
