A comedy set in the quarantine, made during the quarantine, about a young man's journey to be bad boy, and the world that couldn't care less.

How to Act Bad is an intimate film portrait of singer, songwriter, artist, filmmaker, rock star and human being Adam Green. Filmmaker Dima Dubson followed his friend Green for two years and was given access to all aspects of the multifaceted artist's extraordinary life, both public and private. The result is a raw candid exploration of art, fame, fandom, drugs, love, romantic dysfunction, privacy and honesty.

A Bad Nights Dream

Every weekend for six years, Jessica takes a bus from NYC, where she lives and works as a set decorator, to Boston, her hometown, where she cares for her dad, Aloysius, who is 87 and has advanced Alzheimer's disease.

The film is set in Mexico. General Pancho is some sort of despot...sort of a Pancho Villa-type. When he arrives in town, some folks are scared...but a local vixen is excited as she thinks violent thugs are hot. Soon after Pancho arrives and shoots a man in the butt for no apparent reason, two singers/dancers, Dolittle and Rosebud, arrive. Rosebud is a hot woman...and General Pancho spends the rest of the time trying to woo her as Dolittle woos the vixen.

A girl overdoses

In the work two monitors are displayed at head height on pedestals. The head and shoulders of a young black man appear on one; on the other is an older white woman. They both speak the same sequence of a hundred phrases five times, beginning in a flat neutral tone, and becoming increasingly animated and intense until by the fifth recitation they appear very angry. Their techniques of delivery are quite different, and result in a slippage of time, so that played on a continuous loop, the two tapes become out of sequence.
