A-Guo and A-Dou are two teenagers living in an industrial town in Taiwan, who fight, loaf, and cause trouble all day and hang out with Jie, a young gangster. When Jie's gangland patron is gunned down, the trio set out to revenge the killing. As a result, the two teens are forced into hiding.

On his way to pick her up on his motorcycle, he has a life-changing traffic accident that renders him unable to walk unassisted, shattering his dreams of becoming a pop idol. Now, years later, Dae Woo has become bitter, resentful, and full of self-pity. Wei Wei, meanwhile has become a reluctant internet celebrity after penning a series of posts on a web-based fan group. But when she meets a doctor (Jay Shih) who sees her in a brand new light, she senses that an end to the gloom could be near. But the same is not true for Dae Woo, whose descent into madness is just beginning…

Bullet, a female triad member, is recently released from prison. He possessed a strong sense of justice and they are supposedly living happily together now. Meg and Joe happen to help a person and receive a reward. They buy a present for Shirley with the reward money and go to meet Sam. However, they notice him acting strangely. Upon questioning him, he explains that Shirley was assaulted by a murderer and seriously injured. Joe says to the grieving and angry Meg, "Let's exact revenge on the murderer for Shirley."

A complex sub-plot involving an armored car bullion robbery eventually leads the Angels to a final showdown with Yeung and her men.
