The Hollywood-based star is a great admirer of André Rieu and wrote a piece called “And The Waltz Goes On” specially with Rieu in mind. André Rieu performed it in Maastricht for the first time for such a large crowd.

Classical performer André Rieu treats his fans to 23 festive tracks with this Christmas release. Rieu celebrates the holiday season with songs including "Jingle Bells," "Slumber my Darling," and "Winter Wonderland."

A portion of "Love Around The World" takes place on a beautiful cruise ship called the MS Deutchland; the other portion is filmed at various locations. There are 13 songs on the DVD, plus 3 bonus selections; there is also a section of special features with a discography section. The special features section is very interesting and very enjoyable.

The Christmas I Love’ is a very special Christmas gift – a collection of some of the most tender carols personally chosen by Andre for this album and performed with the full forces of the Johann Strauss Orchestra and Choir. Known as the 'Flower Island' due it its unique exotic gardens, Mainau and its majestic palace grounds provide the perfect picturesque setting for Andre and his Johan Strauss Orchestra to perform a spellbinding set in front of a sea of adoring fans.
