Regina, an eight-year-old girl living on the autism spectrum, has pledged to play a trumpet piece at her school festival. After an unexpected event, she will have to overcome self-absorption and face her chaotic sisters to be heard.

Besides being an excellent showcase of Chiaki Mayumura's talents, this film is a brilliant melding of documentary and fiction.

Mathieu is a mild-mannered man engaged to a woman whose father is involved in running a house of prostitution. When the father dies, Mathieu inherits the bordello and is unprepared for his new position. He overcomes his shyness and becomes a sexual dynamo when his workers feed him some powerful amphetamines.

Jin scowls into the camera when her sister – the filmmaker – asks about her earliest memories. No wonder: these memories are anything but pleasant. Jin was born in the 1990s, during China’s one-child policy. It was normal then for unborn girls to be aborted – right up to the last month of a pregnancy, because boys were preferred. Living babies were also ruthlessly dumped in the garbage, or in the woods. Jin survived for a week in a box on the streets.

Shot in 1999, "All About My Mother" is Pedro Almodóvar's thirteenth feature film. The director was a key figure in the turbulent Movida (the movement for cultural renewal and liberation in post-Franco Spain), explores Barcelona society at the turn of the millennium through the lives of five women.

A 1984 direct-to-video tokusatsu short film produced and distributed by Daiei Video. The film is roughly divided into two portions; in the first, the main character speaks directly to the audience and introduces several pilots for the movie, which are played in their entirety. These include The Mighty Lady—an 8-milimeter student film produced in 1983—and two 1984 films simply titled Mighty Lady. This is followed by the film's main body, an original story in which Mighty Lady attempts to live life as a schoolgirl, then fights a giant robot.

Young film director Even Benestad tells the story of his own father Espen Benestad who is a transvestite and seeks his son's acceptance.

While these three women who have different problems such as beauty, marriage, money but similar desires fight on different fronts, the marriage proposal to Dudu upset the balances at home. While everyone wants to be the hero of their own story, whatever is unspoken, unforgettable and painful is revealed with the possibility of Dudu leaving home. We watch with hope the possibility of an orderly coming out of this mess.

The work deals with the story of a man who remains silent all the time and is the main driver of events, as everyone seeks to discover his secrets, and at this desire meet eight different personalities who all agree on curiosity.

'Prologue: The Lizard of Unmarriedness (It's All About How You Tell It)' is the starting point to a multi-sensory body of work in which Boswell uses film, drawing, sound, and interactive sculpture to examine how storytelling, nuance, and language aid our personal predilections towards belief. In the summer of 2014, Boswell spent three months in Zanzibar, researching the island’s prevalent belief in an ulterior ‘spirit world’. Wanting to explore belief systems as a whole, the fundamental notions of why and how we believe, Boswell began to realise as her research progressed that nothing honest was going to come from her vantage point, as a cynical Londoner examining the intricacies of this deeply entrenched East African belief system. She would have to place herself within the work, and explore the frailties within her own body, if she was ever going to make any true and valid work about belief.

The whole story is told from the perspective of their parents. The mothers (a teacher, a beautician, and a motorist) and the fathers (a farmer and a miner) describe years of estrangement, depression, self-harm, and suicide attempts. All these things happened until the moment of "outing", that is, defining one's true gender identity. In the documentary, we learn about the lives of ten transgender children. Two of them live abroad: in Germany and Canada. This global perspective shows even more bluntly how unfriendly Polish reality is for trans people. There is no support from the government in access to doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, sexologists. There is also no refund of medication and medical procedures, and no legal protection. Finally, in Poland, trans people have to sue their parents in order to have the correct gender on file. This is their everyday life.

Through the eyes of a child named Unni, the film captures the reality of a village in Kerala, India in the 1970s. He belongs to the superior caste of Nairs. His friends Raju, Ramu and Gopi, who go to school with him, belong to the lowest caste of all. His friend Gopi in particular has already had a life full of hardship and tragedy.

All About Gay Sex is a documentary about love and sex between men. The production of the film spanned seventeen months, from November 2008 to March 2010. A total of eighteen men were interviewed for the film, sixteen of which are featured in the film. Twelve of them are gay, one is bisexual, and three are transgender people. These men are ordinary and inconspicuous individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from retired workers, barbers, students and merchants to clerks, freelancers, rural accountants, sex workers and high school teachers. The youngest is 20 years old, the oldest 53. They all live in Kunming, Yunnan. Kunming is an inland city in China where the economy is ailing and people adhere to conservative values. The men interviewed exhibit a love and sex life that boasts vitality, diversity, and open-mindedness.

In All About Meteorology, young students will see how meteorologists can predict the weather for the upcoming week and even a few months down the road through scientific deduction and high-tech equipment. Students will visit with Dr. Jon Nese, chief meteorologist at The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia, to get an up-close look at the equipment that meteorologists use to forecast the weather and explore such concepts as the water cycle and air pressure.
