This documentary is about the Montagnais from Saint-Augustin et de La Romaine Indian reserve, in the region of the Côte-Nord in Quebec. Perrault approach those First Nations Citizens in order to discover that even if in our traditional occidental thinking and culture we consider ourselves superior to them, we still have a lot to learn from their traditions and ancestral way of living. Through a warm, human and respectful gaze, Perrault looks at the repercussions of European civilization's influence on Aboriginal culture, exploring the imagination and the codes of Native from Canada. The result, contradictory yet profound, was especially striking thanks to the sublime images captured by Gosselin within close relations with the Cinéma-Direct tradition in witch Perraut is one if not the greatest ambassador in the world.

Whenever Erik van Loo – the present chef and owner of restaurant Parkheuvel in Rotterdam – thinks about potatoes, he always remembers his father's potato-crème-soup, a butcher from the province of Limburg. Erik still makes the same soup, if only a little more refined, to serve the patrons at Parkheuvel. Cees Helder, the first Dutch chef to be awarded a third Michelin star, was his predecessor. Helder handed over the restaurant at its peak and remembers the last piece of veal he prepared there with great melancholy. The third key figure in this documentary about cooking as a form of art, taste en deep felt emotions is master taster Paul van Craenenbroeck, whose judgement was crucial in getting a Michelin star. Flavour and taste can never be transferred on film, but the appealing photography, rich in close-ups, tries to make the experience as tangible as possible. What starts with the birth of a lamb or grows on the oyster beds, ends up sparkling on a plate like a modern work of art.

Little Seva watches his family break up, but there's nothing he can do about it. My father and mother are getting a divorce because my mother decided to go abroad. Just SHOTA's practices with GENJIRO starts to be a stone mason like his father. This story is about 'Kizuna' which means a strong bond among family, friends, animals and even plants, connecting everything from this world and the world beyond.

Lucien, a modest engineering student, discovers that his steady girl friend Mireille is using him to cover up her dates with Mario, an older man. Lucien wanders about the streets of Paris and meets Joëlle, a sophisticated teenager who supports herself with a job in a sleazy nightclub. It is late when they meet, and Joëlle invites Lucien into the club and demonstrates her stripping act to her one-man audience. A feeling of rapport develops as they go from place to place seeking entertainment; in the morning the two discover they have fallen in love. Mireille learns of the romance and, on a bet, plots with Philippe and other friends to break up the affair. Neither Lucien nor Joëlle, however, succumbs to the propositions of Mireille and Philippe. Later at a nightclub, Mario gives the appearance of seducing Joëlle. Enraged, Lucien rushes at him and they fight. Lucien is reunited with Joëlle--he has learned of the complexities of love, and she has acquired from him a sense of stability.

Yong-pal has an unsatisfactory night with his girlfriend Amy and he goes to a sex therapist called Ban-hee to recover things in his relationship. Through the intimate 'therapy' he gets with Ban-hee, Yong-pal is confident that he's better and goes to see Amy. They have a hot time and they are content with each other but Yong-pal heads to see Ban-hee once again...

Lucas and Ellie are two teenagers who will become two lovebirds. Their pureness and innocence exclude them from the world they live in. Hand in hand, they will be searching for a better world in which they will be able to grow up. But in every fairy tales, there is a dark side. On their journey, they will face violence and cruelty. Both of them have a past and a background that they want to run away from.

In this unusual format, entitled "The Night of Bad Taste", Flemish movie director Jan Verheyen did, several years in a row, present a somewhat eccentric movie-buff audience with a long succession of material from pictures that never made it into mainstream, being to gore, obscene, clumsy, grotesque etcetera to make the production work in its genre (in many cases horror) but somehow funny or fascinating in their own right as accidental persiflage, some almost bloopers which surprisingly survived the final cut.

Two sisters, 96 and 98 years old, live in an old house situated opposite the school where they used to teach in the centre of Portugal. Their care and attention is shared between the house and the garden. Their daily life, serene and unhurried, is full of memories and small tasks. They do not make plans for the future – it just happens day after day - like tapestries which are made with neither paper pattern nor prior drawing. Whilst the garden reveals the passing of time, the house seems to live with quivering light and trembling breath. Illness arrives, unannounced apart from that of age itself.
