Taras is 35 years old and he lives with his grandmother in an old building of Kyiv. He is in a difficult situation socially and professionally. He has however a great passion, fly fishing. A passion that he will try to share with Luda, a young woman met on Facebook.

Father and daughter... Mother and son... Grandfather and grandson... Why are they together? Why can't a mother hug her son? Why can't the father see the daughter? Too many questions and not enough answers. That's how life works. Life is like a river running through its course. It gives hope to some, and takes it away from others. Easy to lose, hard to find... Everyone has their own river, their own bank of hope...

This film was produced as an extension of a research film on the metamorphosis of the fly. It successively shows the hatching of the eggs, the nutrition and growth of the larvae, swarming and underground penetration, the formation of the pupa, metamorphosis and organization of the adult insect.

On the same day several interrelated characters try to change their own lives and, in the process, change the lives of others.

In the 19th century there were more explorers from noble or at least affluent backgrounds that set off for the blank spots on what was then the map of the world, but Alexandrine Tinne was still fairly unusual as a woman.
