1950s. Gege (Giuseppe Cristofaro) is a delicate child who lives in a hard world that does not accept it. He thus takes refuge in the dream to escape the many small daily harassment. The other story begins in modern times: A debt collector handcuffs an old friend, a poet, who cannot pay back his debt. The poet, who cannot be free of his handcuffs until he returns the money to the debt collector, goes to pick up his lover, while still handcuffed to the debt collector — but the poet's lover too was a prisoner of the debt collector, who escaped, and so all three are become handcuffed together. "Flying Flying" participated in the Youth Forum of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2001, as a 'film banned after 1990.'

The black kite, generally referred to as “the eagle” in Taiwan, used to be very widespread and so common that it is the main character in a well-known Taiwanese children’s game. However, it has now become so rare that very few people ever get to see it. SHEN Zhen-zhong, better known as “Mr. Kite” who vowed to safeguard this endangered bird, is determined that he spent the best 20 years of his life traveling throughout Taiwan to find out why the black kite is disappearing. From 1992 to 2015, the film documentary maker LIANG Chieh-te followed Mr. Kite’s journey. Through his camera lenses, the story of how, one person can cross the species barrier and totally devote himself to a cause with no regrets because of love.

In January 1946 a British military transport plane departs from Shanghai on its to Tokyo, Japan. During the flight the airplane makes an emergency landing on Sado Island. The residents on the island have heard stereotypes of the British soldiers and have mixed feelings about the their new "guest." Nevertheless, for the next 40 days the islanders take care of the crew members until the plane can take off once again. This includes Chiyoko Morimoto who is the daughter of the inn owner where some of the British crew members stay.
