As the world descends on London in 2012 for the Olympic Games, a very different kind of competition is taking place in the streets and alleyways surrounding the Olympic Park. Described as a tale of local hoods ‘stealing the hearts and souls of their own’, it follows a group of local chancers who decide to, one way or another, cash in on the Olympic Games. 2K, a DJ from the area, returns from a kind of exile to reconcile with his father, only to find himself drawn into a world of criminality, deception and violence in the shadow of the Olympic development.

Sarah is an abandoned, vulnerable, broken, and yet strong-willed child. Her father has left the family, and she is desperate to see him. Sarah speaks to only one person: her best friend Allison, who bears witness to the deteriorating relationship between Sarah and her mother Diane, whom Sarah blames for her father's absence. When a heated argument leaves both mother and daughter's emotions exposed, Sarah seeks out Allison. In doing so, Sarah is forced to confront both a part of her past and a present reality that she may not be prepared to live within.

In a black and red dress and white cowboy boots, a young woman listens as her grandfather tells the story of his repeating nightmare — driving through Malibu Canyon, he spots a bloodied man screaming for help on the side of the road, and in an instant, must decide whether to help or flee. The dream comes in various forms but the cowboy can’t shake the images from his head, even in waking life. Later, when Ruby goes to see her mother, a hidden truth about the dream comes to light. Brimming with Lynchian atmosphere, Whittington’s film is intriguing and melodramatic, built around two striking characters captured in vivid color.

This documentary is a record of the role played by Spitfires in defeating the Axis during World War II. The film, which shows these planes in action during the Battle of Britain, in Italy, and on D-Day, also depicts the work of aeronautical engineers and ground crews who kept the Spitfires in the air.

Struggling artist Ned Templeton and his wife Joan are leading a poverty-stricken life in Paris. Threatened by starvation and eviction, Joan is forced to become a prostitute. After some time, Ned becomes successful, and he and Joan move to New York. There he meets Helen, daughter of wealthy art patron James Cartwright. Cartwright was the man who "bought" Joan in Paris, and when he learns that his daughter's happiness depends upon Ned's divorce, he threatens to expose Joan.

A kidnapping, three airplane crashes and several fist-fights adds speed to the plot in which the plans of a new, faster airplane motor invented by brothers Tim and Jerry are stolen and suspicion falls on their office secretary Mary Stuart. But she can pilot an airplane with the best of them and she risks her life to save Tim. And when she gets kidnapped, Jerry regains his lost nerve in rescuing her.

The Legend states that if you whisper a wish to a butterfly and then set it free, the butterfly will carry the wish off to the heavens to be granted. Thomas loves butterflies and seeks the escape he needs in the pages of his favorite butterfly book. Butterflies are his only true happiness while growing up on a farm with his abusive father. After Thomas saves a butterfly from a spider's web, a stranger arrives at the farmhouse. As the tale continues, Thomas ultimately finds his freedom and steps into the unknown world of "Joy".

Jerry tries to out compete his older brother Cass, a lieutenant Naval aviator. Cass is both tough on and protective of his brother, but Jerry can give it right back.

Two prospectors in Africa, Tony Cooper and Dalton come across a skeleton that has nearly been picked clean by vultures. They find a letter on the body addressed to a clerk in London named Wilkins . Cooper goes to Wilkins in London and tells him that his brother, whose body they had found, has left a map and a deed to a large diamond mine. Wilkins decides to go to Africa with Cooper to find the mine and, in order to speed up and finance their venture, they give a third interest to Carol Reade and her partner John Trevor), who operate a barnstorming airplane service. In Africa, close to the mine location, they are greeted by some tough gentlemen named Collins and Quincy who have terrorized the natives and lorded over the region, who quickly discover the reason for the party's mission. They join, unasked, in the race for the diamonds. The race is interrupted by the death of Trevor who is found knifed in his bunk.
