It's Polka Time was an American musical television series broadcast by ABC from July 1956 to September 1957. Also known as simply Polka Time, the program featured authentic polka music, performed out of Chicago, primarily by authentic Polish-Americans. Chief among the regular performers seen were: ⁕Bruno "Junior" Zielinski ⁕Carolyn DeZuirk ⁕Richard and Mildred ⁕Wally Moore and Chick Hurt ⁕Irene Grodzki ⁕Rusty Gill ⁕Stan Wolowic's Polka Chips The “It’s Polka Time” TV Show with Stan Wolowic and the Polka Chips began in the summer of 1956. The band included in addition to Stan Wolowic on accordion, Wally Moore, banjo, Tommy Thomas, drums, Jack Cordaro, clarinet, Chick Hurt, Banjo, Jack Taylor Bass. Rusty Gill was featured on vocals and guitar, his wife Carolyn DeZurik was also featured on vocals and yodeling. Most of these guys were in a group called the Kentucky Ramblers, this group moved to Chicago in the 30’s and joined the WLS staff and became the Prairie Ramblers, before becoming the “Chips”. They claim that Wally Moore wrote lyrics for all of the Polka Chips songs. The Show was on from July of 1956 to September of 1957.

Super Hero Time is a programming block on the Japanese television network, TV Asahi, featuring new episodes of tokusatsu television series from the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series. Both series have decades of history and have been intertwined in the public imagination for some time, not least of all because the driving creative force behind both was manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori and both were produced by the same production company, Toei Company; however, they did not air together until 2000 with Kamen Rider Kuuga and Mirai Sentai Timeranger, though at the time they were not acknowledged together. Super Hero Time airs every Sunday morning, from 7:30 to 8:30 JST.

OPT and its spin-off syndication company, Television Program Enterprises, were formed by Al Masini. During its existence, OPT was considered the de facto fourth television network. OPT was also called an occasional television network and occasional program alternative. OPT inspired syndication and network models that arose in later years, such as The Disney Afternoon, Prime Time Entertainment Network and MyNetworkTV.

Tivoli Party Time was an Australian television variety series which aired on Melbourne station HSV-7 from July 1957 to October 1957. It represents an early example of Australian-produced television content. Information is difficult to find for the half-hour series, except that it aired live and featured acts who performed at the now-defunct Tivoli Theatre in Melbourne. It was actually the rise of television variety series like Tivoli Party Time that is credited with the demise of the Tivoli circuit. The 8 September 1957 episode featured Spanish dancers Christine and Moll, and Filipino singer Bobby Gonzales as guests. Although the series was short-lived, variety series as a whole would become a major part of Australian television during late-1950s and 1960s. Although kinescope recording existed during the run of the series, it is not known if any of the episodes were recorded using the technology.

Music Time was a BBC schools television series which ran from autumn 1970 to spring 1991, with repeats airing until summer 1994. It was presented initially by Mari Griffith and Ian Humphris, from 1977 by Kathryn Harries and Peter Combe and then from 1983 by Jonathan Cohen and Helen Speirs. From its inception until summer 1983 it was transmitted on BBC1; subsequently it was on BBC2, and for most of its run it was transmitted on Mondays and Thursdays.

Old-Time Ballroom was an Australian television variety series which aired on Melbourne station ABV-2 and Sydney station ABN-2 on Saturdays. It originally aired for a 4-episode series in September 1959. The program aired an additional series starting December 1959, which ran though to January 1960. It was briefly replaced on the schedule by The Saturday Show. The series itself occupied the time-slot previously held by Saturday Party. Aired live, the series presented a mix of ballroom dancing and music, with each episode featuring the ABC Melbourne Dance Band. Guests who appears during the first series included juggling act The Muracs, Joean Clarke, Clive Hearne, singer June Hamilton, singer Geoff Brooke, singer Des McGee, singer Pat Grierson, trapeze artist Nicky Colcos, dance-caller Bert Cartledge, singer Irene Hewitt, singer John Kelly, and novelty act Tex Glanville. It is not known if any of the episodes are still extant, given the erratic survival rate of Australian series of the era.

Time for Terry was an Australian TV series which ran in from 1964-1966. It was a variety show that was hosted by English comedian and entertainer as well as jazz musician Terry O'Neill. The show was a forerunner to such shows as The Midday Show and Hey Hey It's Saturday, combining variety and music with game show elements. The show was so successful for HSV7 that it launched a season of Night-time for Terry in 1966. O'Neill had run a similar successful show in England called The One O'Clock Show. Amongst other highlights, the show was responsible for launching the careers of Pat Carroll and Olivia Newton-John - whose farewell to Australian television before leaving for England was on the show. Terry's then wife Peggy Haig made frequent appearances as did their daughter Coral Kelly - later to become prolific television writer Coral Drouyn.
