"Voices of AlUla" is a film about sound in the desert of Al-Ula, through intimate stories, tales of the road, the features of nature, and the vastness of the desert. Directed by Mitoshka Alkova.

Ferne Stimmen : distant voices. That of Hannah Arendt, a poem of whose, written in honour of Walter Benjamin in 1942, is read in voice-over as we see images of walls and deserted streets in an abandoned village: Oradour-sur-Glane. That of Ulrike Meinhof, speaking of women’s position with regards to political commitment, or the survival of fascism in post-war Germany, as we see a woman in a cell akin to that of the political activist. Two german women, both of whom fought against nazism and its aftermath; two evocations of state violence and the struggles it engenders; two decentred frames that cover each other in turn, contaminate and pollinate one another in a palimpsest of eras of resistance.

Frustrated journalist Paulo is ensnared by neighbor Marina, waitress and actress. She once seduced him in the elevator, and since then, she never let him go, even though she also never let go of her marriage. Trapped in work, creative block, and Marina's grip, Paulo chooses to cut ties. Drunk, he records a love-hate farewell on a cassette for her. Film depicts his escape attempt and internal battle, shared through recording for the absent Marina.

Fragments of all three short stories retrospectively pass before our eyes. The most difficult thing is not to lose the person who came into your life. Everything can be returned, except the people we lost. Preserving a person is the greatest of arts.

In 2013, My Voice, My Life followed classes of students from three high schools for underprivileged kids and one school for the visually impaired as they embarked on a voyage of self-discovery through taking part in a musical production. Six years later, what kinds of lives are they leading now? My Voice, My Life Revisited goes in search of four of those students: Ah Bok, Coby, Sio Fan and Tsz Nok, charting their transformation and how they have grown over these past few years, as well as the challenges they are facing today.

This experimental film examines the physical and emotional effect of violence as it is seen through the eyes of women around the world, ranging from a Irish mother explaining the use of "knee-capping" by the IRA to an Arabic woman describing how war and terrorism has impacted her country. Each woman who narrates uses her own native tongue, with nine languages represented on the soundtrack. While the film does not feature an original score, the Master Drummers of Burundi appear in one sequence. Wild Blue, Notes for Several Voices was screened as part of the Un Certain Regard program at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival.

A mother and daughter attempt to rebuild their relationship, which fell apart in the shadow of childhood trauma. Armed with a camera, the director returns to her childhood home in search of recognition. Between bags of clothes, the generation and memory gaps are revealed. Despite the geographical and mental distance between them, they share a common desire for love and closeness.

In a Jewish Orthodox village in Israel, Tamar, a twelve-year-old girl, prepares for her Bat-Mitzvah (confirmation), which will take place on Passover. Becoming convinced that she is impure, and growing increasingly scared and depressed, she forces herself into an endless ritual of cleaning, while attempting to silence the whispering inner obsessional thoughts that are detailing every inch of her relentless guilt, over and over again. To make matters worse, Tamar's only friend, Rachel, lures her into sinful mischief: peeping into the Mikveh (bath house), turning a light on during the Sabbath. The girls even dare to secretly bathe at the Mikveh when Tamar gets her first period. Will Tamar succumb to her fears? A dark and unflinching portrayal of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and the inner turmoil of an adolescent girl.
