Noiy, a deaf boy struggling to survive on his own in Luang Prabang, takes refuge in a small school where he learns with other deaf children — and befriends Jane, whose parents do not want her to socialize with the deaf children at the school. When the two find themselves in serious trouble, Jane's father blames Noiy and threatens the school itself.

A group of Taiwanese who were born before World War II still insist on writing poetry and haiku in Japanese language. Director HUANG Ming-chuan has been documenting them for 22 years since 1994. Unlike Korea, another previous colony of Japan, Taiwan retains emotional and cultural ties with Japan even after the War. Over 40 years, these poets and writers get together discreetly under the ban of speaking and publishing in Japanese. More than half a century later, despite aging, they remain using Japanese in the final years of their lives. This film gathers memories of local Taiwanese who have been ruled by several colonial powers since the Dutch arrived on the island in late 17th century. And the path to obtain their own voice became a long way struggle, and so as the national identity.

Byeong-seo, who works as a boom operator at a Chinese movie site, is unable to concentrate on work due to a breakup notice from her girlfriend in Korea. Bingbing, a kind policewoman, helps Byeong-seo, who is in trouble after dropping the boom under the wall, and she guides Byeong-seo to her favorite dumpling shop. There, he meets Sun Ying, who has a crush on Bing Bing, and Bing Bing and Sun Ying develop feelings for each other due to Byeong Seo's mistake. Stomu and Sverrir are friends and accomplices. They have known each other for many years and have already worked together. Stomu has been to Iceland to take part in Sverrir’s premieres. During Sverrir’s tour of 15 Japanese cities in December 2005, the two artists spent a lot of time together in Kyoto and discussed creating a new project that would permit their sensibilities to meet. The aim of this film is to give us an insight into this artistic friendship. The two artists create a musical project especially for our film in which Stomu’s mineral sounds encounters Sverrir’s unique voice.

Current testimonials are illustrated with musicals by Fernando Faro, in addition to other images from the TV Cultura archive. The hostess Oh Hak-ja has not experienced true love yet. Though outwardly, Hak-ja seems to distrust men, she earnestly thirsts for love. Hak-ja tries to find true love with a young man named Ji Suk-wu but he betrays her. Promising to meet again, Suk-wu goes abroad but Hak-ja falls into despair when he doesn't return.

The film follows Mats. A boy in his 20s with a life characterized by anxiety and paranoia. Troubled by a nightmare, he goes to visit his psychologist where he describes an unpleasant dream he has had; a nightmare in which he killed a wild animal.

In this light-hearted experiment, Professor Moholy-Nagy demonstrates differences in sound produced by arbitrary manipulation of the soundtrack. The optical soundtrack has been re-photographed to appear on the screen as the corresponding sound is heard.
