The National

The National headlined at Ypsigrock Festival in Castelbuono, Sicily, Italy in 2019. The concert was shared as part of the band's "Exciting Communal Event series", which launched with a stream of their show at Primavera Sound in summer 2018. The Ypsigrock Festival performance took place in association with The Independent, which hosted the festival's main stage.

The National played on October 21, 2017 in the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg, Germany.

The 89th annual national Christmas tree lighting ceremony, performed in Washington D.C, on the Ellipse of President's Park. The lighting ceremony, hosted by TV's Carson Daly, included performances of Christmas carols and tunes by pop group Big Time Rush, English singer Ellie Goulding, pop band OneRepublic, country singer Rodney Atkins, soul songstress Marsha Ambrosius and the Airmen of Note, a jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force.
