The End

A contemporary story set in a deep Russian province.

A group of eight university friends spend a late summer weekend at the seaside, at the villa of one of them on the Roman coast, before embarking on a new academic year of exams and lessons. The boys spend their time having fun, sunbathing and going to the beach, until one of the components happens an accident that turns their holiday into a nightmare.

Two teenage non-identical twin sisters meet a boy on a beautiful summer day at the lake.

A young woman is living with her mother at the end of a dead-end street. The young woman notices that a man standing in the street stares into her room every day. After a while, she gets used to his presence and falls in love with him. As the mysterious man slowly enters the girls household and becomes a friend. However the girl finds that the man is a government agent sent to arrest his brother who is a political activist hiding from the government.

After destruction of the world, life returns slowly and in convulsions. The being finds its home on the exact place where it was before the catastrophe, and this is the happy end.
