When The Great Erasure interrupts her reading of Dove’s story, The Black Girl goes in search of the author. After the Feminist Bookseller and Africanist Professor do not help her, she turns to The Revisionists, in whose cyberarchive she is able to locate Dove and the two spend an afternoon together. Told in the style of a ciné-roman, the film is an homage to Shaw and Dove’s “Adventure” novellas.

After being fired from Under The Southern Cross in the late 1920s, American director Alexander Markey returned to make Hei Tiki. Following a sometimes tense shoot, mostly around Taupō, he departed Aotearoa, leaving bad will and fears that he'd stolen a number of tsonga. Inspired partly by Māori legend, Hei Tiki sank quickly when finally released in 1935. This documentary features extensive clips from the movie, plus interviews with surviving cast and crew.

Inspired by his possible future of sexual exploration, Michio begins to pen an erotic manga starring a scantily clad heroine. After a night of feverish writing, Michio finds that his creation has come to life, and is tasked with helping him become more learned in the ways of women. She transforms him into “Michiko”, which results in the mangaka learning many different aspects of what it means to meet a woman’s sexual needs. The quest is not without peril though, and, the newly named “Michiko” has a lot of obstacles ahead of her on her quest for happiness.

A writer of pulp crime novels is drawn into a series of real crimes. This film was one of the first Czech attempts on a genre parody.
