Ayano, Miyu, Yuri and Mei are high school students. They learn about a fatal gas accident which occurred at a school in the past. The girls then experience unusual occurrences like hearing breathing from closed classrooms and seeing a person's shadow. Hitomi then sneaks into an abandoned school to shoot a horror video for the internet. Hitomi hears from her colleague Kimio about a fox's window which leads to the spirit world.

In March 2011, a young British pilot, David Simpson, was arrested for mass murder in Africa. David was born and brought up in the idyllic village of Gillamoor, but he didn't want to take over the family pheasant farm, so he landed a job with an exclusive safari company in the Central African Republic (CAR). CAR has endured decades of unrest, and armed rebel groups roam the country, but for David, working in one of the world's last remaining wildernesses was a dream come true.
