Every day, a Romanian woman walks down a path near the Bijlmer prison in southeast Amsterdam. She then sits down on the bank, in front of a ditch where ducks and coots innocently splash about. A dragonfly sits on a stretch of barbed wire, a contradictory image in this unfriendly environment. The woman looks up, past the concrete wall and barbed wire, to the high white towers and their many dark windows. Behind one of them is her boyfriend. She shouts loving things to him and he replies. They talk about small details of daily life, like what they've eaten, what's on television - they even squabble. The man is locked up, but so too is his girlfriend down by the waterside. The filmmaker stays out of the picture, and there is no voice-over. It's the silence that speaks in Space in Between.

The music of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY lead us to outer space and made us experience its infinite dimension. INTERSTELLAR, between the stars, we entered the infamous, global STAR WARS and were rescued by STAR TREK's spaceship »Enterprise«, leading us to faraway musical galaxies, where no man has gone, before. We got in CONTACT with extraterrestrials, GRAVITY pulled us back to earth and, finally, we fulfilled E.T.'s wish, to phone home. Within the second part of the concert, we honored the Oscar-, Golden Globe and Grammy winner Alexandre Desplat. His atmospheric melodies for HARRY POTTER, TWILIGHT, THE KING’S SPEECH, THE IMITATION GAME And THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL amongst others let us virtually float through the universe.

Started as a punk band known as Death Piggy in 1982 and became GWAR when the costumes were introduced. There are several other former members. New members just assume the roles of the already-established stage characters (see past members section for more details - note: BalSac, and BalSac the Jaws Of Death are different characters). The band sometimes performs as Rawg - GWAR w/o the costumes (this is due to limited stage space in some small clubs).
