Epic drama set in the summer of 1932 where India dreams of independence, but the British are clinging to power. Set against the sweeping grandeur of the Himalayas and tea plantations of Northern India, the drama tells the rich and explosive story of the decline of the British Empire and the birth of modern India, from both sides of the experience. At the heart of the story lie the implications and ramifications of the tangled web of passions, rivalries and clashes that define the lives of those brought together in this summer which will change everything.

In Italy, the gambler and professor of poetry Daniele Dominici arrives in the seaside town of Rimini and is hired to teach for four months in the local high school replacing another teacher. His relationship with his partner Monica is in crisis and he spends most of the time with his new acquaintances and gamblers Giorgio, Marcello and Gerardo. In classroom, he meets the gorgeous nineteen years old student Vanina Abati, who is Gerardo's girlfriend.

An adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Bernice Bobs Her Hair" which is set in a small Czech town where life for two teenage cousins revolves around evening alfresco dances. The tale involves a rivalry for male attention between Klara and Maria, both spending summer at their grandma's house.

The day that the financial clerk Metodi Rashkov is getting retired comes. He is a shy and quiet man and he accepts all tasks given to him by his son and daughter in law without argument. With time, he becomes a housekeeper; he shops, cooks and looks after his grandson. In order to save his face in front of his friends he lies to them and falls in a number of uncomfortable situations. The "Expolsion" becomes imminent. The reason is insignificant but with great consequences. Rashkov leaves his home. Soon the freedom which he wanted becomes boring for him. The abandoned family begins to miss the grandfather. At the end everyone sees their mistakes and is ready to fix them. The birth of a second grandson is the event which brings everyone under the same roof again.

Two married couples cruise from town to town along the Adriatic coast. While men are occupied with booze and sea, their wives are more interested in the young "skipper", who seems to be a virgin. Frivolous flirting evolves into drama when one of the wives and the skipper start feeling something that appears to be love.

Anna is a criminal journalist and is fully committed to her career. The editor-in-chief of the magazine Sergey, with whom Anna lives in a civil marriage, makes her an offer to marry him. Anna happily agrees. But life makes adjustments to these plans. Suddenly, Anna is responsible for the daughter of the deceased friend Ksyusha. Anna is looking for Maxim - the brother of the late Toma and her former love.
