This film is inspired by the murals depicting heaven and hell in Taiwanese temples. This film introduces a Taiwanese funeral to the audience from a POV angle. Besides enjoying the ultimate luxurious afterlife service from an extreme close-up, the audience also get a glimpse of heaven, hell and reincarnation in Taiwanese traditional religions.By going beyond the common grotesque concept of death, we hope you’ll find your peace of mind after the journey.

A poor orphan girl, Nien, is on the run after stealing some food that a wealthy man had purchased to feed some dogs. She takes refuge with a singing garbage collector named Choo, who hides Nien in his garbage cart while the wealthy man and a policeman search for the girl. Choo then takes Nien back to his humble shack and gives her shelter. The pair fall in love, but their romance is cut short when he is drafted into the army and sent off to war.

Charged with violation of the Water Act, the indigenous community living under the San-ying Bridge was forced to witness their shelters and homes being torn down by the government every year, while the sand and gravel processing plant on the east bank grew larger and larger; the garbage mountain on the west bank higher and higher. This absurd cycle became so familiar that the children of the community began to build and demolish make-believe houses as a game.

We jump into the light and die.” The appearance of the handsome taxi boy Vo Thanh Tam is also one of the highlights of the film that takes the story to a new direction. Unanticipated tragedies happen when the characters in the film are ready to defy everything to get what they want and hide their secrets.

The biggest and the most everlasting protest movement against the government’s neoliberal policies in Turkey have been started in June, 2013. Protests which initially to contest the urban development plan for Gezi Park were sparked by police violence and protests took part across the whole country. The government took a step back due to big reaction by citizens and gave up their decision of demolish the park. During this protest which last fifteen days, thousands of people were get injured and 9 people were killed. The movie which started out to the sentence “Let justice be real by the falling of the heaven” tells the story of the protest and demand for justice against government’s neoliberal policies.

Exclusively made of documentary archive footage, the film captures the parable of the young people who took part in the extra-parliamentary political battles in Italy between 1967 and 1977 and whom, with their passions and dreams as well as their violent acts, followed the idea of a revolution in an attempt to “storm Heaven.”
