Heaven

The story of the Los Angeles 'Kiss or Kill' music scene (2002-2007). Fed up with the wretched Sunset Strip pay-for-play policies, 'too cool for school' trendiness of the Silverlake scene and apathetic crowds, the bands that made up Kiss or Kill forged their own scene based on great music, cheap booze, low cover, and a mid-western sense of community and friendship. At it's peak, Kiss or Kill had more than 60 bands in its roster and over 1,000 local L.A. fans. But as Kiss or Kill grew and became more popular, it fell victim to the same 'venue-isms' of other L.A. clubs and eventually became the very thing it was fighting against.

An unexpected friendship between two Italian and Jewish immigrant girls provides the backdrop for this story of labor organizing and women’s growing activism. While working in harsh sweatshops and factories, the young women also experienced the thrills of movies, amusement parks and dance halls. As their numbers in the workforce grew and working conditions declined they took matters into their own hands. In 1909, garment workers staged the “Uprising of the 20,000,” a massive strike that won union recognition and transformed the role of women in the union movement.

When the young Ahmad can’t manage to go through with the telephone calls, he decides to put away the memories that remind him of her. But certain memories prove to be more intense than others.

Produced in 2001, this hour-long documentary on the 175-year history of Saint Thomas Church was produced and directed by Paul G. Sanderson III of Our Town Films, Inc. Originally broadcast on PBS, viewer comments ranged from "magnificent" and "remarkable" to "one of the best television programs I have seen in a long time." The film had its world premiere at the Museum of Modern Art and was screened at the New York Independent Film & Video Festival. The film has also been awarded a CINE Golden Eagle, a Crystal Award of Excellence and a Telly Award.

Shot in mine­fields, this film cont­ains footage that reveals just how dan­gerous Aki Ra's obsession is.

No Clouds in the Blue Heavens focuses on Rukia's execution and the main events surrounding it. It sees the addition of Asuka Sekine, Hiroko Kasahara, and Masahiro Kuranuki to the cast. Their roles are Suì-Fēng, Retsu Unohana, and Kaname Tōsen respectively. Kohei Murakami and Harumi Inoue were not able to play Hanatarō Yamada and Rangiku Matsumoto in No Clouds in the Blue Heavens but they both will appear in the next three musicals.

An elderly mother who lost her beautiful young daughter, a man who lost his spouse, two little boys who miss their godly mother, a cold-hearted mother and daughter who scolded them without the smell of a person washing their hands, alcoholics who bully and oppress them who are hungry and thirsty, etc. by showing the evil phenomena that have appeared in the society, proposing the idea that there are more good people than bad, Gansukh, who tormented his two sons a lot, told about a bright and beautiful life where he meets a woman who is loyal to his love and has a kind heart.

Heaven and Earth is RAISE A SUILEN's fifth live concert. Maeshima Ami and Itou Miku were the guest performers for first and second day, respectively. It was held on July 13 and 14, 2019 at Kobe World Memorial Hall. Recorded footage of the live is included in the Blu-ray edition of RAISE A SUILEN's 1st album, ERA.
