Godiva S Saison 2

Godiva's is a Canadian television comedy-drama series, which debuted on Bravo! and Citytv in 2005; each episode is one hour in length. It completed a successful two-season run in 2006, but though the show received rave reviews, it was cancelled by CHUM broadcasting. There are currently attempts at getting a third season made. The series was created by Michael MacLennan with Julia Keatley of Keatley Entertainment. The series was nominated for numerous Gemini Awards including Best Series. It was celebrated for its intelligent, fast-paced depiction of young Canadians in the restaurant industry.

When an English lord finds his wife Lady Godiva in bed with her lover Tom Jones they have to leave the country and go to the USA. Godiva ends up in a brothel and when Tom wants to save her he is challenged to a duel by the owner of the brothel.

This is one of four two-minute extracts from a two to three-hour procession, held to commemorate her legend in Coventry on the afternoon of 9th September 1902, as part of the city's coronation celebrations. The procession starred the fabulously voluptuous and successful London Hippodrome actress Vera Guedes as Godiva. The film begins with a lingering shot of Godiva, in her flesh-coloured dress, on her horse highlighting her significance in the procession. The remaining extracts lose her as a focus, as the procession is used as a vehicle to exhibit local trade.
