Farrebique, the first feature-length effort of French documentary filmmaker Georges Rouqier, is widely regarded as his finest film. Rouqier concentrates on a single French farm family, following them through the four seasons. As in the works of Robert Flaherty, the human characters and the land surrounding them are "one", and Rouqier never misses an opportunity to parallel their lives with the eons-old phases of nature. The final symbolic images of Spring, achieved through time-lapse photography, are almost unbearably beautiful. The winner of several festival awards, Farrebique nonetheless did not immediately result in an outpouring of financing for Rouqier's follow-up films (this was a common problem in the financially strapped French film industry of the 1940s). Perhaps as a result, Rouqier did not make his sequel, Biquefarre (filmed in the same region, with some of the same "actors"), until 1983.

One out of three silent adaptations of the novella "Les quatre diables" written by Danish author Herman Bang. The most famous one, although unfortunately lost, is without any doubt F.W. Murnau's "4 Devils". This German version, by Danish director A.W. Sandberg, was done eight years prior to Murnau's American one, and was a big success at the time.

This is a hilarious look at contemporary Madrid from the point of view of ten year old Manolito. Witty, funny and moving, the film has crossed-over from Spain to become a classic family entertainment.On this particular occasion, Manolito is in the middle of Chrismas break and ready to celebrate the holidays with his nutty family: his mother, Cata, his father, Manolo, Grandpa and Imbecile. This year holds a big surprise: Uncle Nico, his mother's brother who lives an works in Oslo as a waiter. Uncle Nico shows up in an unbelieveable motor home to spend Christmas Eve with the family. He is accompanied by his flashy Norwegian fiancée, Trudi Bergenkoklass, who is something like part fairy, part Viking and part Pippi Long Stocking. This lady immediately catches Manolito's eye.

Father and his family comes to visit onkel Anders' twin brother, Sofus, who comes all the way from Australia with a cow in tow. Unfortunately, Sofus equally surly and grumpy, as Anders is good and kind. Sofus takes his cow with Herefords to win milking competition. But when the cow refuses to give milk may Lille Per, Mie, Ole and Seas learn Sofus that words are leading the way to be good to others.

Family is everything. The four Yuzuki brothers lost their parents two years ago, and now work to raise themselves. Hayato, the eldest, then Mikoto, Minato, and young Gakuto. Hayato works and provides for the family. Mikoto is relaxed and calm. Minato is full of energy, and Gakuto is wise beyond his years. Together they live, learn, fight, and forgive as brothers should. Everyone is afraid of something. Also Father. He suffers from a terrible case of fear of heights. And for him to not decline a new job opportunity, located on the 27th floor, which could save the family from moving across the country, the family decides to travel to Norway to cure his phobia. But it will soon be clear that Father's phobia isn't the only obstacle standing in their way.

A young man who has lost his memory, escapes from prison with three other convicts. The other men help him find back bits of his past, until they arrive at a village where two warring families recognize him. Apparently he has a reputation for being a fast gun, and he has been paid to kill a man - who says he is his father. His younger brother is jealous of the attention the prodigal son receives, and things come to a dramatic end.

The popular Danish family are vacationing on the island of Bornholm. Unfortunately, they have not been able to get hotel rooms, but Tiny Per, always resourceful, have come up with the idea that they must sleep in a tent. Father and Uncle Anders are not quite enthusiastic about the idea, but there is nothing else to do.

Salesmen Alan, Ian, Tim, and the pushy Tony are on a plane on their way to a sales conference. Alan joins the mile-high club with a model in the toilet but Tim is annoyed that he is two air miles short of joining the others in club class. On arrival in North Africa, they decide to charter a plane rather than face a fifteen-hour coach journey to the conference.

Four salesmen Alan, Ian, Steve and Tim are on their way to a conference where only one of them is guaranteed promotion. There is much bickering, Steve is perpetually sick and gets put in the boot, the C.D. player jams and they have a run-in with a Range Rover driver. When the car breaks down in a snowstorm they wind up in a deserted cottage with a shotgun-wielding, diabetic woman.

Fear Forest is a run down haunted attraction with a dark past. Several unexplained deaths occurred in the attraction that were never solved. Years later, it is being torn down, and the project is being overseen by Mr. Malichi Bones, a man with his own secret past. Helping him clean out the property for demolition are a group of people in a work-release program, working off various fines for their past criminal behavior. It isn't long before old haunts return and bloody murders begin. Is it one of the criminals, Mr. Malichi, or could it possibly be the animatronic monsters represented by Frankenstein’s Bride, A vampire, a werewolf or an Egyptian mummy? A night of terror begins as the doors lock and no one can escape.....Alive!
