The theme of the film is what unites all people, what is hidden in all of us, be it the soul or the collective unconscious. The film is about different worlds, each of which is characterized by a different state: aimless haste, flow, senseless routine, social masks (both in front of others and in front of oneself), and the connection of the characters there. The film is about the connection of people, about not noticing it, quietly discovering it, rebelling against and trying to escape the unity, reconciling and melting into a single being, a mass. The author of the film wants to believe that in the midst of the pain, wars and brutality that prevails all over the world, there could be something unifying and binding in all of us. Something that, by discovering and becoming more aware of, we could live in greater harmony, without killing each other and destroying our nature.

Reportage writer Ayano Asama (26) covers gangs, delinquents, drugs, adult entertainment, the poverty business, the occult, and urban legends. She is constantly in trouble, being threatened by the people she interviews and being involved in illegal activities. Her parents, siblings, and acquaintances are worried about her, but Ayano continues to go her own way.

One day in the life of a 50-year-old couple. Blind Krzysztof goes skiing with Wiola, who is his wife and guide. They prepare for skiing in the early morning. Krzysztof mounts bluetooth kits on the helmets that will connect them to each other. They go to the top of the mountain in a chair lift, and the higher they go, the more we learn about their life. At the same time, weather conditions are changing, thickening mist falls on the mountain slopes. When Wiola and Krzysztof finally reach the summit, they must find each other and connect in the surrounding fog. A short documentary about love and passion.

Eleri has been caring for her mum, Luned, since she was a child. But both have become so invested in their reversed roles of parent and child, that they’ve lost sight of one another and the true connection between them.

This documentary film is made without words, music, and usually even without human presence. At the beginning, we see in detail a small wolf cub that some people found abandoned in a forest and are now taking to a rescue station by car. Then pure observational methods are used to develop the light-hearted story of two such wolves during their forced stay in captivity until such time that they are returned to the wild. The structure of the film is based only on the changing times of day and yearly seasons. Everything else is open to the viewer’s interpretation of animal behavior, chiefly during the wolves’ interaction with other representatives of their own species and in both familiar and unknown surroundings.

Ray is a Manila cop who travels to Hong Kong on assignment. He searches for his girl friend Lina, and finds her - addicted to drugs. Heung Lan, his ex-partner, is an undercover Hong Kong cop investigating weapons smuggling. She provokes the smugglers by intercepting several shipments in Hong Kong, leading to several good, although brief fights. The drug smuggler kills Lina, and Ray swears vengeance. The head of the gang then returns to the Philippines, and with him, the action shifts back to the Philippines. The lady cop gets more than what she hoped for.

Music is disappearing from Majorland. Rumors say that the one who's deleting the music is actually Aphrodite-sama. If that's the case, the Melody of the heart, the exploding Rhythm and the beating Beat will also disappear.

When two Hong Kong buddies become rivals for the same woman, their friendship ends, and they join rival tong gangs. Later, a tong boss cleverly conspires to use a motion picture company to cover illegal drug trafficking: Actresses are sent to Amsterdam for film roles not realizing that they carry cocaine shipments. Once in Holland, the actresses are sold into prostitution. Soon the faux film company shanghais the woman who put the two friends at odds. Filmed in January 2011 at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow as part of the annual Celtic Connections festival, this superb performance by The Richard Thompson Band is their first to be shot in high definition. The first half of the show focuses on Richard’s recent “Dream Attic” album with the second half given over to songs reaching back as far as his debut solo release “Henry The Human Fly” and up to more recent projects such as “Sweet Warrior” and “The Old Kit Bag”. Thompson’s distinctive voice and unmistakable guitar style are well to the fore and, as ever, his band are as good as it gets.
