Through old film clips and interviews, Langlois is seen as an eccentric but charismatic young visionary obsessed with preserving and locating old films. Filmmaker Edgardo Cozarinsky uses scenes from Citizen Kane to compare the portly iconoclast to Charles Foster Kane, in that both Langlois and Welle's fictional newspaper magnate where avid collectors, and both were men of mystery.

Fresh off a mandatory military tour, a group of Israeli combat soldiers participates in a series of army-sponsored courses in order to graduate from high school. Part of the curriculum is a civic studies course that asks the soldiers to contemplate issues of human rights and democracy as they pertain to Israel as a state, a nation and a country. The students engage in heated debate as the teacher repeatedly challenges them on their views and opinions, opinions formed largely from their recent and often harrowing personal experiences in the military. It’s a fascinating process, one that puts into sharp perspective some of the challenges facing modern-day Israel, a country full of violence and contradictions.

This Canadian made documentary follows newspaper magnate Lord Conrad Black at one of the most tumultuous times of his life. A flamboyant and controversial individual, Black's publishing empire began with his takeover of the Daily Telegraph in 1985 and his publishing credentials include owning 60 percent of Canadian daily newspapers, founding the National Post, acquiring the Chicago Sun-Times, Jerusalem Post, Sydney Morning Herald, Melbourne's The Age and The Spectator among others. Black's personal life is no less contentious as he once famously sued the Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien to accept a British peerage and renounced his Canadian citizenship when he lost the lawsuit. While he once owned the fastest-growing press empire in the world - reputedly the third largest in the world this documentary follows Black at the point where his publishing empire is crumbling.

A satirical, surreal short about a woman that struggles to find her place in a futuristic society where work and productivity are all that matters. Emotions are banned and people that fail to live up to the standards set by the government are captured by officials dressed in yellow, never to be seen again. The film uses a combination of surveillance cameras and subjective shots to show the last day in the life of this woman, as she fails to live up to the norms of this society.

Citizen Cohn is a 1992 cable film covering the life of Joseph McCarthy's controversial chief counsel Roy Cohn. James Woods, who starred as Cohn, was nominated for both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his performance. Citizen Cohn also stars Joe Don Baker, Ed Flanders, Frederic Forrest, and Pat Hingle. It was directed by Frank Pierson. The movie was filmed on location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Theoharis, an elderly and lonely man, takes refuge in the hospital every evening to spend the night. He sleeps on the benches and chairs of the outpatients' wing because he is afraid to be alone. Every morning he returns to his house, where his only companion is his cat and his memories. One night he is discovered by a young nurse, Evgenia, who tries to learn more about him. Theoharis is initially skeptical and refuses to give her any information. Gradually, however, a relationship of trust between the two begins to be built and Evgenia tries to help him.

It features Betty, a civic-minded housewife who inhabits a cartoonish, 2-D, 1950s-inspired world, replete with narrow-minded peril. The story begins when Prince Philip goes missing and Betty finds a clue that leads her on a thrilling chase from her neighbour’s trash, to a strangely exciting all-girls bar, to the local chapter of 100% Women. Accompanied by the musical stylings of Marilyn Lerner, this frolicking satire irreverently unravels right-wing family values.

Tapley, who has plans to use Clay's good family lineage as a stepping stone to political power. The unscrupulous Tapley precipitates a strike in his factory mill which causes a rupture between the former partners. Schofield sets out to bring Tapley and his political henchmen to justice.
