One fateful day, an old beggar woman approached him. Because his heart was cold, the selfish Prince turned the poor woman away. To the Prince’s surprise, the woman then transformed into a beautiful enchantress. She put a curse on the Prince for his ugly behavior, turning him into an equally ugly beast. The Enchantress’ curse could only be broken by one thing – a true love’s kiss.

Lily James heads the cast as famous names from theatre, film, comedy and music gather together online to bring you a unique and hilarious adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, all to raise money for some very good causes. He believes that to appreciate them, people just need to spend time with them and he headed to East Africa to do exactly that. His journey exposes not only a softer, more caring side to these maligned birds but also a much bigger story, one that leaves vultures needing many more admirers.

Beauty and the Beast is the largest and most ambitious production to ever hit the stage on a Disney ship. The innovative take on the classic story transforms renowned songs into spectacular, show-stopping numbers and creates a visual panorama that reaches beyond the stage and into the audience. Drawing inspiration from the live-action film, the stage musical uses the scenic motif of a music box to guide you through the story. A transforming set takes you on a magical journey through the music box, from Belle’s provincial French town to the Beast’s mysterious castle. In fact, high-definition video projections immerse you in 23 different locations, which is quite a feat for a theatrical production.

This documentary provides an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the "Beauty and the Beast" Musical, which is currently showing at the Capitol Theater in Sydney, Australia, and it will soon be moving to Brisbane in February 2024 and Melbourne in June 2024.
