Based off the same name novel by Liu Liu, the story revolves around the lives of people in the medical field

Having spent a harrowing time in prison, Miao Wei looks up both former, casual lovers but also his childhood sweetheart Wennie. It's not long until they're married and off on a perfect path together but Miao Wei takes scars from his prison time into his intimate moments with Wennie. Claiming he loves her too much, the relationship begins falling apart in dangerous ways...

A young Taiwanese assassin codenamed "Glass Heart" committed suicide by jumping off a building, and her heart was pierced by metal fence. Miraculously, her life was saved by heart transplantation. During her recovery she began to experience strange dreams, which lead her to Japan looking for the donor of her heart, who happens to be Kaori Makimura, former partner of City Hunter Ryo Saeba. The author mentioned in the first tankoubon volume that Angel Heart only shares the same characters of City Hunter but not its continuation. The events are all parallel universe, therefore it has nothing to do with City Hunter.

Ryo Saeba is a private detective and a sweeper who rids society of evil. He is also known as City Hunter. He works with partner Kaori Makimura. An accident leads to Kaori Makimura's death and her heart is transplanted to Xiang-Ying. Xiang-Ying then appears in front of Ryo Saeba.

This film documents one day in the life of Angel station on the Northern Line of the London Underground in the days before its refurbishment. We see the ticket collectors, station manager and other staff as they cope with angry passengers, lift failures and cancelled trains.

This drama follows the relationship of a heartbroken woman and a young immigrant girl who has lost her mother at the border, coming together just before Christmas.
