The Wyatts are your typical suburban family... who just happen to own one of the premiere firearms facilities in the world. Rich Wyatt and his wife Renee own Gunsmoke, located outside Denver, Colorado, where they buy, sell and trade guns — from hand cannons to hunting rifles. And if you don't see what you want, they'll build one for you — from nothing more than a block of metal. Gunsmoke has the largest and most experienced group of gunsmiths in the state. When the Wyatts aren't building or selling guns, they're shooting them. No gun leaves their shop without being test fired by the family first. They — and the one-of-a-kind and historic guns they make and sell — are featured in AMERICAN GUNS.
Tracing the story of a student uprising this documentary explores how the NRA manages to keep a permissive gun law alive, and why it has such a strong hold over American society.
Release on The History Channel as "Tales of the Gun". The gun is arguably the most important invention in the history of mankind. But of the thousands of firearms developed over the years, which are the most influential? Where do legendary weapons like the Colt 45, Gatling, Kalashnikov and Winchester rate? And are other, lesser-known guns actually more important? To create the definitive list of the TEN GUNS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD, the experts, collectors and historians who have appeared on the first three seasons of TALES OF THE GUN were polled. They were asked to rate the guns based on their design, function and historical significance. The impact of the weapons chosen is illustrated through archival footage, re-creations, visits to important collections and extensive commentary from renowned experts.

From directors Nick Doob and Shari Cookson, "Requiem for the Dead" is made entirely from found footage, including social media posts, 9-1-1 calls, news stories and police files. The film tells the stories of those who have been killed by gunfire, whether from accidental violence, random shootings, family disputes or suicide. Hear those stories of those who have died, which is only a fraction of the 32,000 people killed in America each year, 88 per day, from gun violence.
