Ana goes to Crato, twelve years later, to do some research on the portraits made by Telma Saraiva. She knows little about Telma and what brought her to attention. She makes a journey back home in search of the meanings of the images.

Due to their individual circumstances, Yoon-jae, Do-hoon and Alisa gather at a mahjong room run by madam Yang. When Yoon-jae arrived, the moaning sounds of Do-hoon and madam Yang were leaking from the mahjong room. Alisa arrived shortly after. Yoon-jae takes Alisa and leaves for a while, but Yoon-jae is already sucked in the game before even entering. That's how Do-hoon and Yoon-jae started playing mahjong with their energy drained. The game gradually turns to madam Yang, and she decides to make the final wedge and starts to seduce Yoon-jae. Alisa also tries to seduce Do-hoon, but things get a little twisted and they all got into a hot relationship in the mahjong room...

The change of the political system that occurred in Poland in the early 1990s brought not only hopes related to the social and economic transformation, but also anxieties and fears. At the time, such fears were treated as evidence of incompatibility with the new capitalist order and thus consistently relegated to the margins of public debate. The film is an attempt to recall the traumatic experiences of this period.

It's a background that I haven't specifically mentioned in this film and that no one can know, but last year a family member who had cancer had part of her body surgically removed. I created this film based on my experience of indirectly feeling that pain as a stranger. I think it was a psychological pain I felt from the painful appearance after her surgery, but for me it was an inexplicable sadness. Practically speaking, we cannot feel the pain of others, though if you physically connect the nerves in your brain to each other, you might be able to feel it. My simulated experience of this pain seemed to me as if some complex neural transmission was taking place which could not be interpreted. While watching the white objects in the film spin and fall, I hoped that time and wounds would melt away, and that someone's physical or emotional pain would heal.

The same gestures come back again and again to write a history of deterioration and repair. This history is obliterated in the making of monuments. With the wind that inexorably scatters the traces of these actions.

The story of a herring enterprise in Árneshreppur á Ströndum which began in 1934 with the construction of the country's biggest herring plant in the village of Djúpavík. The plant brought great prosperity to the community, in the mids of world depression. The film includes interviews with several people involved in this adventure as well as old films and photographs.
