About the great shrine of ancient holiness, martyrdom and new martyrdom. The story begins with the history of the monastery's creation, six centuries ago, since the appearance of the Venerable Savvati, Herman and Zosima on the island. The chronicle footage tells about the terrible period of the archipelago, when a special purpose camp was set up there since 1928, about the terrible suffering and torment that the prisoners endured. About monasticism, and, of course, about the present day of the monastery.
The narrator, an unnamed adolescent boy living in the present time in an unspecified part of Japan, begins to notice that he can see strange creatures that no one else seems to be able to see. As time passes, he ruminates over his relationship with these creatures, why he is able to see them, and what it says about the person he is. One day, however, he notices that one of these creatures seems to be behaving differently than before...

The film is a portrait of Marlon, after being the victim of a great socio-environmental tragedy: his city was buried by the collapse of a dam. “The safest place in the world” is how he refers to his original place, today surrounded by cameras and security.
The project Places that do not Exist (Goggle Earth 1.0) consists of a series of portraits and films of places which do not appear on Google Earth, which we travelled to in order to document their true appearance through vid- eos and photographs, which in the installation were then contrasted with the false vision which we see on Google Earth. These were military grounds and training camps, govern- ment buildings, natural parks where speculators have constructed illegal apartment blocks, nudist beaches... in Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, Russia and Australia. The catalogue of land- scapes which, for various reasons, Google Earth glosses over is endless and often very surprising. The project therefore confronts this unrealistic and yet supposedly objective view of Google Earth from a realistic (yet nevertheless subjective) point of view of the ground-level images we have of these places which, in spite of eve- rything, do exist.
On the waterfront, a few soldiers inspect the perimeter where a festive table has been set up in front of a makeshift wooden stage. The garrison commander greets a motley group of foreign visitors as the waiters open the champagne to start the show. The perspectives alternate, the bah-humbug atmosphere at the guests' table is counterpointed by the reluctance of the performers and the resentment of those who prepare the meal and must serve the guests. From this group, the character played by Marga Barbu stands out for her eccentric, disruptive presence, upsetting the fragile balance of the whole performance and aggravating the already tense situation towards its dramatic climax.

Piotr has a wonderful family, a beautiful house, and decent earnings. When the world is struck by the pandemic, everything changes. Piotr is required to home quarantine. He isn't worried, as he's feeling great. In fact, he's looking forward to spending two weeks with his family. But his wife – afraid of contracting the virus – takes the children and goes away to stay at her mother's place. Although she leaves the house stocked up on food, she forgets to replenish toilet paper. How will a guy who's never had to use a washing machine cope on his own? Will he realize how much he's taken his family for granted?
The artist is captured by a fixed camera while moving on her knees around her atelier. Almeida explores the space and its limits, as well as the things in it, thus creating a dialogue between the artist's body and the place where she develops her craft.
