Cha Moo Hyuk is a man who was adopted by an Australian family but treated cruelly and then abandoned at a young age. By chance, he meets Song Eun Chae, a fashion coordinator dedicated to her employer, singer Choi Yune. Their meeting will have implications for the rest of Cha Moo Hyuk's life as a devastating turn of events leads him to delve into his past, and ultimately find happiness.

Ritsu was abandoned by his mother Reiko when he was little, so now he belongs in the lower social strata. One day, Ritsu gets involved in a case and his head is severely injured, so he can die at anytime. Convinced she abandoned him due to poverty, Ritsu attempts to find his mother and be good to her before his death. But when he learns that she is leading a happy life instead, with her pianist son Satoru, he decides to take revenge on his mother. Ritsu then meets Rinka, a girl whom he happened to help in the past, and discovers she is Satoru’s childhood friend.

Based on the hit Korean television series “I’m Sorry I Love You”, Larry Yang’s Chinese film remake “Sorry I Love You” displays the skills of an upcoming director and actors, including model Vivian Dawson stepping up to earnestly play the male leading character. With only six months to live, due to a bullet in his head which could not have been surgically taken out, Walker decided to leave Vancouver, where he grew up, and go back to China to look for his biological parents and twin sister(Jule). Walker knew that he probably did not have enough time to find any one of them, but everything changed when he ran into the girl(Encai) who he'd saved from a few street thugs several months back in Vancouver. When Walker finally found out the identity of his birth mother(Hui) and stood in front of her giant luxurious mansion, he suddenly felt that his whole life had been a punch line of a practical joke......

When hit KBS drama I'm Sorry, I Love You aired in 2004, it recorded high TV ratings, won the acclaim of critics, and quickly became one of the flagbearers of the Korean Wave. The tragic love story of Mu Hyeok (So Ji Sub of What Happened in Bali) and Eun Chae (Yim Soo Jung of Lump Sugar and I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK) made stars out of its leads and attracted an enormous fanbase throughout Asia. Two years later, G&G Entertainment released a 35-minute animated version of the drama, Between of One Year, consisting of highlights from the drama and new scenes dealing with the final moments of Eun Chae and Mu Hyeok's relationship. The script was supervised by the writer of the original live-action drama, Lee Kyung Hee.
