Aperçu: Two masked outlaws rob a buckboard driver of his silver bars. Gene rides after the outlaws, while Pat aids the driver. When Gene has one of the men cornered, the other knockes him unconscious. Gene recovers with a bad headache, and Pat breaks the news that the driver is dead. They find out that he was carrying silver, and visit the sheriff, who explains that this is the fourth robbery in a row. Gene gives Dorrie Taylor, a new townsperson to her Uncle’s ranch, when they discover a masked outlaws killing another stage driver, who is Dorrie’s uncle. Gene drops Dorrie off at her uncle’s ranch, not knowing that their housekeeper, Ada Mitchell is the ringleader of a counterfeiting gang. Dorrie is kidnapped, and Gene and Pat ride after her. Gene is ambushed by the gang, but he brings them down, and takes them in, and Ada Mitchell, and is able to save Dorrie.
